Dedication

We honor the grit, tenacity, selflessness and courage of the members of the Donner Relief Parties. We dedicate this expedition to them and all those seek to discover for the betterment of mankind.

The Donner Relief Expedition which will begin February 14th, 2022 and ending on February 18th, the 175th anniversary of the arrival of the 1st Relief Party at the cabins at Truckee (Donner) Lake, culminates a body of work of research – both from written word (diaries, journals, interviews with survivors, articles, novels, academic research, etc..) and in-the-field surveying.
